"The Coffin"

                             Waking up can be so hard to do
                                       for you're apt to
                                        feel worthless
              leaving behind the daily grind you once knew

                               going to sleep is difficult
                with mind a racing with endless possibilities
                      that must be strengthened and built        
                            
                                  Going to bed is easy to do        
             as the hope of new possibilities die leaving one blue
                        going to bed is unemployment's reward

                             for the leisure of evening brings
              about equality for the worker and non worker alike
              as the diplomas hang up on the wall, seeming bored
                                
             so to start another day could bring much needed hope
                             to open this emotional coffin
                           where one can exhale and cope
